Ronaldinho hangs up his boots

Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldinho has retired from football – a sad day for the sport.

Ronaldinho, 37, was part of the unstoppable Brazil 2002 World Cup squad, as well as lifting the Champions League trophy with Barcena in 2006 and winning the prestigious Balon d’Or in 2005.

“He has stopped, it is ended,” his brother and agent Roberto Assis confirmed.
